Proper care and maintenance of window film.
To maintain the life and look of your window film, the following cleaning instructions should be followed.
Do not clean the film for at least 30 days after installation. This will insure proper adhesion of the film to the glass.
Most window films have a tough scratch resistant coating to help protect the film, however proper cleaning methods should be observed to help maintain the life of the film. Do not use brushes, abrasive cleaning sponges or other cleaning materials that could damage the film. Always use fresh clean materials to clean and dry your windows. Common glass cleaning solutions may be used. A soft squeegee may also be used.
Never use tape to adhere objects to a filmed window. Tape could damage the surface of the film. Suction cups would be preferred to mount anything on a filmed window.
