Just a note to tell you how satisfied I am with the effects of having had your window film installed on my windows last spring. I postponed acknowledging this sooner because I wanted to experience the advantages of having it over two seasons – summer and winter.

While the film cannot be detected on the windows, the most noticeable advantage is the lack of glare. This feature is especially important to me since I have so many windows facing west and south. Lack of glare can be readily experienced, but only time will show the other big advantage of having had your window film installed, the reduced fading of my upholstered furniture, carpets and artwork.

When we moved into our new offices a year and a half ago you recommended the application of security film on our windows.

Thank goodness we agreed.

A few months ago someone took what appeared to be a sledgehammer to one of our windows. The object bent the window frame and broke the glass but the protective film prevented the individual from gaining entry.

Replacing the glass was a minor situation compared to the problems we would have had if the individual had been successful in getting into our office and removing our files and our computers.

We are glad we took your recommendation and had the protective film applied.

In the summer of 1996 our club enlisted the services of your company to install window film on our windows through the health club for privacy, appearance and to cut down on the amount of heat generated when the sun shone in. We were very impressed with the professional manner in which your staff acted when coming in to install the film as they worked quickly and efficiently with little or no disruption to our daily operations. The mess generated was minimal and the finished product looked terrific.

Not only does the window film look professional, but as well it is very functional as it cut down the amount of heat in the club which is a difficult thing to do given the amount of body heat generated in a fitness facility never mind the solar energy aspect we have to contend with.

Dear Peter,

Lori and I wish to thank you for your prompt response to our request for having the UV reducing film installed on our kitchen and family room windows. Your crew arrived on time and was very efficient and neat in their installation of the film. We find the films do help reduce the load on the air conditioner and that we can leave the blinds open more of the time.

I want to share with you another benefit of the window film that you may or may not have been aware of, but was brought to my attention by my 8-year-old son. A couple of weeks ago in an effort to overcome the boredom of summer holidays, Brian went searching for something to play with. He found a 5-iron and a couple of golf balls. The best and last shot of the afternoon went straight for a 4-foot by 4-foot kitchen window that had just had the film installed. This is a double pane Pella window with the two panes of glass only being about ½ inch apart. The golf ball struck and shattered the window into literally a million tiny needles of glass. What amazed us was the fact that the film held them all together. A 4-6-inch diameter piece of glass broke away from the outer pane held together by the film and neatly dropped down into the space between the two panes of glass. The inner pane was completely undamaged thanks to the film. Had the film not been on the window I know the golf ball would have come through both window panes and there would have been slivers of glass everywhere. We were glad that we had film in place.
